I have the good flash, but I don't have the FT-1 adapter nor the extension tubes. So no macro shots much with my Nikon1 V1.

Thanks Bill but i think i need to add flash to give it an edge

Added second photo with slight vignette. Thought maybe that helped to bring the eye in to the flower.

I tend to have trouble framing my photos the way I'd like. I guess that's the problem with a viewfinder that doesn't have 100% coverage plus wearing glasses. This weekend I had an eye exam and got a Rx for 1 meter out & am hoping a Nikon custom diopter will help me out.
