Once more with Nikon View X2 Color booster & sharpened to 4, although the first pass in the Nikon Capture I used Landscape Mode which added some sharpening & color I think. Right now with the D5500, Capture is the only way I have to manipulate the RAW. I'm planning to get the Lr6 free trial soon, just not ready for the learning curve since I'm still figuring out the camera itself. :)_SHS0503cex.jpg
My husband thought it was overexposed so here it is again.

Is it just me, or does everyone feel their pictures are much better on their monitors before uploading? Even when I click to see full resolution it's just not the same.

When uploading to this site, I always save my image at a 1000px long side. This is the maximum resolution allowed by this site.

If you're trying to upload full resolution shots, the forum software will auto resize to much lower rez. If you want us to see the full rez shot , then upload to a hosting site (I use Flickr) and put up a link to it.

I upload 2048px on the long edge thats as what I view on my monitor. But when the site cuts them down to 1000px they still look kind of OK.

Make sure when uploading to click the image and select the large option if you want to display them as big as poss.
Then as @Blacktop says you can always host on other sites and provide a link or link via a double click.
