I love artichokes.

You bet. We are growing three types in the test garden -- french globes, which look cool, but don't have much flavor, classic green solids, and purple Imperial, which is the one in the picture. They had nasty thorns, but are especially good grilled with olive oil and garlic.

I stuff mine with seasoned bread crumbs (pepper, Locatelli cheese, garlic, parsley and basil). Drizzle with olive oil and top with more Locatelli cheese. Then cook in the pressure cooker. Yum!!
