Since I have seen at least 3 major fires in my area, I thought I would start a FIRE thread: Landscapes, fire-pits, brush fires, whatever is lit-up goes.

In Louisiana, we have: football season, hunting season, crawfish season and hurricane season.

Yet another fire. We had one near us in San Jacinto, and another broke out across the mountains from me in Orange County. It is a brush fire, and so far, no structures are in danger. I was smelling smoke all day that just got worse. I went outside to find a huge smoke plume starting to eclipse my neighborhood.
This image was taken from Lake Elsinore's beach. (Now midnight, we have ash falling. They have mandatory evacuations in place.)

Yes, it is. It is zero percent contained and headed for the top of the mountains. I am just outside of the evacuation warning zones. Fingers crossed I don't get chased out by smoke or fire. I am by myself with 4 dogs.
