Another from Lake Apopka, this one not long after sunrise. I had to pull out all of my optical tricks out of my bag to get this one because it was so far away. D300, 600mm f/4 ED IF AIS and TC-300, for a total of 36x!

This is probably my best and most challenging shot of the month. I had to do a group photo for a cycling group and only found out the day before where they were going to be. So I scouted the area and found the spot I kind of liked the background. Except that the sun would have been right behind the group. Nature was on my side and clouds moved in just before the shot. I had policemen blocking the street so I had to do it quite fast. The group were only stopping for a few minutes. So I had the tripod setup and Line went to the sides to delimit my field of view. We marked the ground so that when the group arrived I had only to place them between my limits. The whole shot took about 3 minutes at most. So this is why I'm proud of this shot.
