I am just adding a placeholder for later with a cellphone photo I took this month. I shot nothing but film for the month. I dropped off the film for processing today and was informed it might be 3 weeks until it gets done. B/W film apparently is done at a slower work pace.
Simpson, SC, 07/30/2025 with my aged D5100. I was running an errand far from home and saw railroad signal indications that a train was coming, so went to this spot to set up. I'd wanted to get this shot for a long time, but the location is very close beside a highway and isn't a safe place to wait. With a short stay of only two minutes, I was pleased to finally get a picture, and with good light and with neat clouds too.
