One of my favorites of the year.
I have two that are favorites...for different reasons. One thing I noticed while going back through this year's images is that my style has changed/evolved as I continue to grow in my knowledge.
This first one was edited with Color Efex Pro 4. Although I dabbled with this plug in previously, it was this edit that really opened my eyes to the various effects CEP4 offers.
And the day I took photos like this one where the sun would set within the hour are favorites. The Mackerel sky was a huge plus.

Impossible to pick just one photo, even too hard to pick one in each genre.
I do a lot of macro work, this one stands out, but I have others that could that I could just as easily pick...
It's taken 14 years of living beside this creek to finally get an uncropped photo of a Platypus that is even remotely sharp, so this image is pretty special to me....
