A few pictures I took at a swim meet using my 1.8G 85mm
. The lighting wasn't really great but it worked!

Here is a photo from a recent wedding with the D600. I find the D600 a good camera and having the extra megapixels is handy for cropping (compared to my old D90)

When I first bought the D600 I found the autofocus slow in low light (like a church) but that improved massively with an early firmware update

Stunning photos - you got me with the clouds, I love dramatic cloud photos and having the fishermen on there just finishes it off and I think the last photo for me

hMMM...... I like the second photo and the last

The second because of the more dramatic clouds and less sea but also the last because it has a clean look if that makes sense with the whiter clouds and reflections are more obvious in the water

OK, here goes first post. I have been reading this site for weeks and thought I had better start contributing...

I like the last one best. Why, there seems a better balance to sky and water, the clouds look whiter and there is some sky above giving a little distance from the edge, the water looks better and there is some separation between the people fishing. Nice shot.

Now I will try and work up the courage to post one or two of my own.
