Our 'skeeters are around throughout the year, unlike yours. But yours are much more vicious and organized, swarming together to cause so much blood loss that one's life could be endangered!

Maybe we'll soon have another February get-together somewhere in Florida like we've done a few times before. I don't recall if you attended either of those we had at the Circle-B-Bar Nature Preserve outside Lakeland. (After this virus quits causing so many issues and consternation.)

Yes, Liz and I made the second Circle-B-Bar gathering. A most enjoyable experience. Fingers crossed that we get to do it again if the advance of old age permits.

I was there at the first two of them, but didn't meet many because I was out on the trails very early and had to leave fairly early. I also spent a good amount of time inside the visitor center getting out of the sun at mid-day.

Hopefully we can meet the next time we do something like this.

It doesn't look like it, but it was pretty dark, so 3600 ISO and the D500 handled it pretty well.

This guy has taken up residence on my property and adopted my bird boxes as watch towers. Last evening Liz and I spent almost an hour watching him/her hunt along the cut grass edge of the garden. At times we were out in the open within twenty feet of the owl which totally ignored us. It was a wondeful experience.
