I borrowed Liz's new 300PF, fitted the 1.4 T/C III and "voila".

I couldn't agree more! It's truly a game changer. It was what motivated me to sell of all my Canon gear & make the move to Nikon.

I played with the 500PF + 1.4x TC this weekend and was pleased with the results.

The only drawback with the 500PF is that it's uncomfortable when you sleep with it.

I've found that a nice soft LensCoat help that problem all but disappear!
