Nicely done! Quick question...what lens did you use? The EXIF simply gives the focal length as 600mm; however, a previous image shows the info on the lens used (Tamron zoom).

I was shooting with my Tamron 150-600mm original version.

I went out for a little ride Thanksgiving morning, before cooking & came across this beauty.

(Question: I there a recommended size / resolution / etc. for best display of uploaded images? Mine don't seem to have the crispness they do elsewhere.)

This Northern Harrier was surveying the field adjacent to the road I was driving on. It actually startled me. I grabbed the D500 from the passenger seat of my car, aimed, & shot. To me, that's a pretty good example of the focus acquisition & lock of the D500. Yes, I was driving. No, in retrospect, that was not a good idea.
