Back to Palomar Mountain today to photograph a couple little waterfalls and test out a new, experimental technique I learned about. Using this technique, the motion of the water is what creates the fantasy colors you see in the second shot, Magic Waterfall.

3 SHOTS - ADJUSTED THE FIRST AND SYNC'D THE NEXT 2 IN LIGHT ROOM.
I DID A PANORAMA IN LIGHTROOM SHOT WAS ALL BLOWN OUT, BEST I GOT AFTER ADJUSTMENT. LEFT SIDE STILL BLOWN OUT.
EXPORTED THE 3 SHOTS TO PHOTO GALLERY AND DID A PANORAMA, IMO ALL GOOD.
WHAT WENT WRONG WITH LIGHTROOM VERSION???

Maybe... related to the way LR recalculates brightness levels when ginning up the composite image. Basing this on something I read in Martin Evening's Adobe Photoshop CC for Photographers (2016). When discussing panorama prep in PS (Chapter 8), he advises softening tone range in individual images before photomerge as PS recalculation of brightness tends to result in end point clipping, particularly in highlights. Am assuming LR and PS/CR use the same or similar approaches to creating panos.
