We opened a new bridge across the Mississippi today and we had a chance to walk across it yesterday. Despite extreme cold weather, many showed up. Nicknamed the Stan Span, it's named after Stan Musial, baseball great of the St. Louis Cardinals who passed away last year at the age of 92.

Nice. When my son was about 9 we had an opportunity to meet Stan the Man at the Little League World Series. He was a real Gentleman and even played his harmonica for us.
