Do either of you know what type of bird these are?

finch, house maybe. I have finches here. Some with red feathers some with yellow.

It must have been very tired from all of the fast flying they do! The ones around here are always moving!!

Tree Swallow is correct. The finch is a Common Redpoll.

I like those, but if you happened to shoot em in RAW, play with them some more to make the best of them.

I may not really know what I'm talking about yet, but I see far greater potential in these than meets the eye right now.

Thanks Skv. They are in RAW. But I have only had LR4 for around 3 weeks now and still watching videos and trying to figure out what I am doing.

Plus this is my first camera that does shoot RAW so it is coming with a learning curve....
