I can't imagine the courage the aircrews of WWII, stepping into the aircraft in preparation for a mission, knowing the odds of not coming home. And yet, they still did it. I've watched the footage of the ground crews counting the planes as they landed after a mission.

Got this shot of a jumping spider. Was having issues with editing it because the bright yellow flower was coloring the light too much IMO. I tried playing around with color temperature and hues and got an acceptable image, but still not what I wanted. Tried B&W and kind of like it better, but still not sure. Not many wildlife image look better in B&W IMO.

From 1976 at North Western Station in Chicago, taken with my Nikkormat FTn and Plus-X film. I sat on the platform and rested the camera on my knees so as to be able to shoot at a slow shutter speed without blurring the image. The 510 was retired in 1989 and it resides today at the Southern California Railway Museum.
