This is a pretty sucky black and white composition ally however I kind of like it.

Here is a friend of mine at an event we covered. We were just getting set up in the room with absolutley no light, I shot this from the hip up towards him, no looking through the viewfinder and there is no crop in this image, I think I just got very lucky!!
