My uncle used to take his Harley parts to this tiny metal plating shop, some 40 years ago. It is out in the middle of nowhere. I always liked the looks of it, and it reminds me of my uncle. He led a hard life, and passed away far too early.

Great shot. Nice lines allow the eye to travel, the petals are clean and sharp and still look so delicate. Lovely.

Thank you, sir. And yeah, it IS a fun shot, that's why I want to play around with it a little.

I'm learning some new techniques in Photoshop that delve into tonality using Curves and I need some B/W shots to practice on... Thanks for the loaner!
