Lobster season's ending. All the cages had to be taken out of the ocean by last friday night. There was buzz at the dock where families came to help load up the cages to store them for the rest of the year. Here in "Les Îles de la Madeleine", QC, the lobster season is only 2 months long. One thing I didn't know is that all caught lobsters are tagged and when you buy one anywhere in Canada you can go on the Net and find out where and who caught it. Technology has gone a long way.

One thing I'd like to add is that these cages are heavily lester with cement bottoms and weight about 80-100 pounds when wet.
