Probably thinking about flying.
Where was this taken? I hardly saw many birds in CO when I was there, let alone Bald Eagles.
Well, it helps that I've lived here all my life.
These two live and nest in Longmont, Colorado. They can be seen often at McIntosh Reservoir. Not exactly out in the wilds, and they have a favorite tree in a neighborhood park along the shore of the lake. Recently a huge group of juveniles came through and took advantage of the plentiful supply of fish in the lake. Once the lake started to ice over, I think they may have headed to "fishier" locations.
