After a few visits to a local site and coming back with disappointing shots, I never gave up and yesterday morning the light was good and the "Shorties" were showing well. I have almost 900 shots to go through but here are a few that caught my eye.

On a really dull overcast Sunday morning, I spotted this cormorant flying overhead. not the best shot, but 1st time I've got a picture of one.
