At Bangkok I was walking around birds were flying in the sky, knowing no Nikon 55-300 on my cam.

You did fine getting a high enough shutter speed and a low ISO.

I told you didn't have the 55-300 on the cam. The 16-85 is short but did a great job

I was so keen of getting that one but he flew so high and between the powerlines.

I was outside working on my power washer when I noticed something in my neighbors bush. When i realized that it was a hunting hawk, i ran inside and grabbed my camera. I tracked him from the light post back to the bush then he flew away. This pic was taken as he flew away without his prey. Pic seems a little blurry I assume from me tracking and shooting.
