I was in the garden photographing the House Martins and Swallows that have returned from their winter in Africa and could see 5 Buzzards soaring high in the distance (we have a lot of Buzzards near where I live).
Then I noticed one a little lower and heading my way. I had the 300mm f/2.8 on the camera and the tc1.7 along side me. Decision time, do I quickly try and fit the tc or just live with what I had with the 300mm not being really long enough for the bird so high in the sky. I decided that I'd probably miss the shot if I start rushing around to fit the tc, so I get a few distance shots.
Normally, I wouldn't of bothered with the shot, however, when I zoomed in I noticed that the Buzzard has what looks like a mouse or rather a Rat or small Rabbit working on perspectives in it's Talons, so I decided that it's a keeper.
