Last year I watched a nesting crow from the first stick being laid to the three fledglings leaving the nest. The nest was begun on Feb., 22. This year they started the nest in the same spot, repairing what was there from last year and adding to it on Feb., 27. Crows are very caring parents and a joy to watch. The nest is on top of a boxed flood light, under the eaves of a five story cell-block of the prison where I work.
The wildlife is abundant on the prison grounds, but under no circumstances am I allowed to bring a camera to work.
