Though I'm not into birds. I keep finding myself coming here to see the amazing shots I've seen here! It never fails to impress, and I just wanted to thank you all for all the effort you put into getting these awesome shot's and posting them for us to enjoy! You guys and lady's rock! :D

snow shoveling this morning before it was light and the Dark eyed juncos were all around me...decided to try and flash them,to my surprise it worked,caught this guy in mid takeoff,lucky I guess

finished up shoveling and went to the store this morning,with the snow still falling,found this almost mature(you can see he still is not completely white on head and tail) chasing a seagull who had a fish,suffice to say the eagle got what he wanted.I have not seen this particular bird before,might be a transient,or one of the mated pairs offspring....either way cool to see flying through the snow

Needed more shutter speed but I love this shot as is.

Out of focus and shutter speed too slow. What shutter speed would a person use for birds and do you use auto focus?
