I know these aren't the best quality photos but I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of bird this is? I think it is some type of seagull.

I should be outside in the yard, prepping for possible tropical storm-to-hurricane conditions. Instead, I'm inside playing with old images and new software.

Yes, Marilynne! Unfortunately, it looks like some folks are going to get hit twice within two to four days.... UGH!! Even though the forecasts seem to be for a strong tropical storm to Cat 1 hurricane, I'm concerned that the warm Gulf waters may cause both of these to really blow up when they get over the Gulf. I hope I'm wrong.

Starting tonight or tomorrow, I'll be checking forecasts and conditions very frequently. Don't we have a few folks here who live in the forecast main path of these storms?
