I have been having small luck lately

These are a few that I took recently when trying the D500 + 300mm PF out for the first time shooting wildlife / BIF - challenging weather with everything from dull flat / very grey to sunshine then torrential rain.......typical English summers day.

I do have to say I am delighted with this combination and I used purely manual settings - between 1/2000 and 1/3200 and around f5.6 with auto ISO.
