With the washed-out body stripping, I'd say purple, but it may just be immature.

It was about 6 degrees the day I took these photos. The birds wanted the feed so bad they didn't fly away when I walked up.

This is a Hermit Thrush. It's a first for me. I was trying to take a photo of an Eastern Towhee and he flew up right in front of me.
