They weren't playing hard to get here. It is a warm, rather than surface of the Sun day today, so I tried going outside with the monopod and hanging out up against the wall. The birds quickly got used to me being there, especially after I put the Z5 in silent mode.
Not great, but the outside pictures are much sharper than the ones shot through 3 panes of glass in the back door.
