Fanning for the Ladies........

Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet, SC. There is a substantial population of wild turkeys there.

The Great Horned Owl chick at Brookgreen was pretty active today. It is really starting to lose its downy feathers now. I am not sure when it was born but owlets usually stay in the nest for about 6 weeks ± before taking off on their own.
