We had a couple of Baltimore Orioles to entertain us earlier this year. Although I have both of the excellent kit lenses, I shot this bird with my much older Nikkor 18-200, then cropped it down severely, because I was too darn far away. (Heheh).
Andy and I went down to the Falls of the Ohio today and really gave my new teleconverter a real workout. These birds are pretty far away, maybe 150 yards.
