I never consider them migrating since they live here year round. There are a lot of bird houses built for them in the area and a lot of dead trees. And according to Wikipedi, "[FONT=&quot]The availability of a winter food source will often determine whether or not a bird will [/FONT][FONT=&quot]migrate[/FONT][FONT=&quot]. If [/FONT][FONT=&quot]bluebirds [/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT][FONT=&quot]do[/FONT][FONT=&quot] remain in a region for the winter, they group and seek cover in heavy thickets, orchards, or other areas in which adequate food and cover resources are available."

Apparently I have learned something new about Bluebirds, thanks[/FONT]

It's a semipalmated plover

Killdeer and Semipalmated Plovers look very similar, but this is a Killdeer. Two chest bands, longer beak and red eyes are the giveaways. A very easy mistake to make, for sure! :)
