I went out to take a picture of a red headed wood pecker and while I was waiting there were some heavy winds. I looked down the fence row I was standing next to and saw these Blue Birds all facing into the wind. It is hard to see how hard the wind was blowing in the picture but the birds would sit there then like they were taking turns they would hop down to a log on the ground in the second picture. Most of the birds went behind the log except for this one bird. I never did find out what was so attractive behind the log but apparently it was something Blue Birds really like because I have never seen so many Blue Birds in one place.







I did get a picture of the Red Headed Woodpecker but they did not turn out as well.
