Used the built in bird spotting option on speed dial, used tripod she was about 150 meters away watching either a mouse or a snake she got neither and flew off.

i went looking for the Burrowing owls nests, count is up to 5 and all active, counted 8 birds tonight ( @Dawg Pics ) in 3 nest, i know the other 2 are active, i got 2 and 4 at them 2 weeks ago.

That is great. I need to get a longer lens for birding. I think it will be my next purchase.
