If you want to embrace frustration, choose hummers -- they will laugh at your efforts

I buy powdered luck in bulk now and always carry five or six ounces in my pocket

That is so true. They will frustrate you like nothing else. But then you a full of a happiness when you nail a shot.

I never tried the powdered luck. I will have to look for it around me.

The only bird worse is the kingfisher. They take a perverse joy in allowing you to sneak up and then fly just as you are getting focus -- and they laugh out loud as they fly!

Very true. I try and not think about them. Because if I think too much about them I will want flight shots and that is probably enough to push me into the looney bin. LOL
