Since I see you are from southern California are these the Ocean Beach (near San Diego) wild parrots?

No. This is one of several cell groups in northern Orange County. The largest centers on Disneyland in Anaheim, but we have a smaller (30 or so) group that hangs around town. We also have a similar sized group of mitre parakeets that come in when the palms and silk floss trees are in fruit.
