Saw these baby American Coots the other day and had to try and get a photograph. They are very quick to hide - Mama Coot has a distress call and the babies scurry for cover. Shot at Jesse Lake, Bonnyville, AB Canada

Shot with a D610 + Nikkor 200-500mm 5.6e + Kenko 300 1.4 TC. handheld.
