Got me a new long lens - a Nikkor 200-500 F/5.6e Hope to shot more birds, they are starting to show up for spring - even though spring has not yet sprung in these parts - had some wicked snow storms this past week. But a few hardy ones stick around through the winter. Like that blackbird that photo-bombed my shot of the flock of Canada Geese out standing on the frozen lake.
Just some common sparrows (i think that's what these are) shot out in the alley behind my house - glad all my neighbours like to put up these birdie-condo's they seem to like them. Unintentionally got me a BIF in one of these shots.
This is one of my first walk abouts with my new Nikkor long 200-500 lens - still have so much to learn and skills to hone. All shot hand held - too lazy to go get the monopod.
