Quite unusual. This is the only pair that has wintered over at the lake and this is the second brood they have produced in the last two months. The first only had a single chick left when I first ran across them on 11 October. There are more than a dozen pairs wintering at TriCity Park, but no reported goslings there.

Well the auto focus has finally given up on the 70-300mm tamron lens, (I think that's the excuse to look for a new lens) so manual focus only.

I have been looking Mike, Could get a 150-600mm new off ebay for £550, but would like to buy one from a well known camera shop I can trust if anything goes wrong with it, seen a few but price at £799, just waiting to see if they come down in the sales.
