Walked out the back door and was surprised to see a hermit thrush sitting back in the shadows. Wish I had some better light, but beggars can't be choosers

I looked for my new resident Great Horned Owl (I think) yesterday, but it wasn't around. Today, to my surprise, it was back in the usual spot.

The Tamzooka would sure be nice for shots like this. The Sandhill Cranes try to keep about 1/4 mile distance as they browse the freshly planted field in my front yard area.
