It seems temperature is a factor when it comes to fine-tuning focus. I now tune my lens before a shoot. I have the tripod in my car and tune her on my license plate. 2 minutes of work and often some points of difference in the tuning value. I'm at +2 in this weather. When I got the lens it was +6. Last week it was colder and I used +4.
