Apologies for always posting over sharpened images, i adjust them to my screen, but i guess i need to do something different for here eventually. They seem better when clicked on image.
Can't get enough of these little guys. They are so wired. One second they land and the next they are gone.

Shot some red-wing blackbirds down at Jesse Lake in Bonnyville AB Canada
Used my new Tamron 70-300 VC handheld.
Took several of BIF shots of these black beauties but none turned out. Need to work on my BIF technique obviously.

I think a Savannah sparrow faked you out
fem bobolink dont have the dark malar stripes ( low+ foward toward the neck) or the dark breast spotting.
