King fisher,its a schedule one bird in the uk and your not allowed to photograph it near the nest,if you find its fishing post it normally uses it on a regular basis

No not at all you get Kingfishers all over the world in various guises but i guess it it must be fairly rare, although we are very protective of our bird life in the UK,we have a very strong protection organization.

I know some areas where he fishes and once in a while he suddenly appears. It's a little fellow and it often takes a while before I even notice he's sitting there.
