I counted 15 in the line, had to keep walking fast to keep in front of them, so I could get the shots.

Kestrel is 1 of my a nemesis and the meadowlark I've only seen one it bounced off my windshield driving up north

I've been playing with it also using birds that I know. Missed one, but it didn't have a tail for reference (tail was behind the branch). Looks promising.
