Thanks. It's easier to get good shots of these. They're not yet afraid which allows me to get closer and the color combination is not only pleasing but also more tolerant to sharpening.
Here's another. I pushed it some more with sharpening. Not too much.
The contrast fringe is minimal (not so much in the preview). Credit goes to Horoscope Fish who, quite some ago, mentioned trying a CPL to see what that does. It does diminish the fringe a lot which shows it is a light related phenomena.
I guess it's time to order that CPL for the Tamron.
Almost 2 hours laying between a dead stump and the side of a hill. Bugger swept in silent as can be, poked around for maybe 10 seconds and gone. There are wood pieces falling away in the pic.
