I love my ISO 100 for static birds. Flight it doesn't work too well but maybe I'll get better result when upping the ISO to 200 or 400 there.

The duck has nice colors but I only got them right after curving the RGB channel. The tone curve is a bit of a clumsy tool in LR but for these shots were the palette is rather limited it is a tolerable tool.

I discovered that showing "less" bird can make a nice shot too.

Enough processing for now. Birding is more work than nightscape.



This far I don't notice many disadvantages when using ISO up to 400 but then again, I don't notice many advantages either.

It's suddenly winter again here. There's little to shoot today so I can work through those of yesterday.



That contrast fringe starts to annoy me again. I really need to find a solution for that.
