Is the fishing good off the piers or beaches? I was itching to set up my surf rods , Ive never fished the west coast there. (Before or After birding of course)

I have never fished there. I have done many races there and spent a lot of time on the beach though. Saw my only Great Horned Owl there.

Well ime getting fed up of the weather we have had weeks of dull overcast and rain,it looks like more to come.Played with these for another project as ime stuck inside, they are no where near as good as Don did my main problem accurate selection.

I had time to do a quick test with the Tamron. I noticed when at 600mm, I'm very skilled at pointing where the bird is not. That's something to get used to.

Not the best shot in the world but even so, I can't say the Tamron disappoints me.



Black bird, ISO 1000 but when overexposing a stop, there's hardly any relevant noise. I love my D750.
