This is definitely not my thing, as I don't have the gear or the patience for it. But some movement caught my eye this afternoon, and I discovered 4 prairie hawks in one of the maple trees in my front yard. I think there may be a nest up there also, but there's too much foliage to really see it.

EDIT: These may be Merlins (aka pigeon hawks) and not prairie hawks.
