I was so annoyed with myself for not getting images of two eagles during their courtship/pre-mating ritual last Wednesday that I went out a few days later in hopes of finding an eagle to photograph. I was thrilled to see at least 5-6 eagles flying around. This one was pretty close. The lighting from the opposite side was lackluster (shooting right into the sun) so I very carefully moved to this side. The second pic was actually taken first as I was walking below it.
Using Auto-ISO is new to me. Apparently as I tried to use the +/- button to raise my exposure, I didn't have the button pressed in hard enough. Instead I wound up increasing my shutter speed which increased my ISO way too much.

The default setting was 1/1000". So it's a setting I will watch from now on.
