The smaller Egret was perched on the branch and I was lining it up for the shot just as the bigger one bombed into the photo just as I was clicking the shutter, the small one jumped a foot to the left.

When they were a bit more composed.

It was very gloomy in the backyard this morning.

I was away on vacation for a week to Chincoteague, VA. Lots of images. Mostly egrets and horses. I was back one day and then went to a park a hour away that had two green heron nest.I wanted to get a green heron with something in its bill, but that didn't work out. But I did get a bunch of shots which made me happy. I just love the green herons. I hope to go back soon and try again to get them with something.I feel like all I have done for the past week or so is edit or take pictures. Not complaining. That's a good thing. But I am glad to be back on here with a lot of pictures to share.
