Just because it is common does not make the Tree Swallow any less beautiful I'm amazed at how much i can crop when using the 200-500 - and this was hand held shot. Birds were not all that close.

Here is one of the shots without any cropping to give you an idea

My first shots of a Ruddy Duck - first one is the female (IMHO) the blue bill and ruddy red body of the male in mating colours is hard to mis-identify.

Watched him for a long time hoping for a BIF shot - they never left the water. :(

The female bird is usually the less colourful and the male gets all the attention. Poor female Mallard - the male with his iridescent green head is what people think of when they think Mallard. But she is a handsome duck in her own right.

But it is hard to compete with the likes of this

No need to hang your head Mrs. Mallard - you are a nice duck just as you are.
